A Pressure Washer works on a combination of pressure & volume of water, not just pressure.
Imagine a man on a bicycle speeding down a hill at 30 mph and hitting a brick wall, how much damage
would he do to the wall. Probably very little, now imagine a 20-ton lorry going down the same hill at
the same speed & hitting the same wall. How much damage would be done this time?
A pressure washer is just the same, the bigger the volume of water, the more cleaning power you have
regardless of the working pressure.
Things to look for in a Pressure Washer:
- A Brass Pump head, (some are Aluminium & will wear & be eroded away internally very quickly).
- Water flow of at least 10 litres per minute.
- A pump that has an air gap between the water seals & the oil seal.
- A machine that is designed & built for more than domestic usage.
- A machine that has a service & repair back up.

Why should you buy from me, well, all the machines that I sell are built to a quality not to a price.
Remember, a lot of domestic rated machines are only made to last for 50 hours of use, i.e., clean the car,
caravan, lawn mower & driveway once or twice a month. At this level of use they will just outlast their
twelve-month warranty.
Should I buy the cheapest machine I can find ?. Yes, but which is that.
- If for example you bought a machine for £100.00 that only lasted for 50 hours, your running cost would
be £2.00 per hour.
- However, if you spent £700.00 on a machine that lasted over 3500 hours your running cost would 20p per
hour
- Financially it makes sense to buy a good machine that will last. Also in terms of performance,
industrial quality machines have a far greater cleaning power thus giving better results and a reduced amount
of time taken to do a job.
If you want a machine that will give good service for a long time (thousands of hours of use) come and talk to me.
I do not keep machines "On the shelf" ready to sell, as there are too many types & sizes for me to do that.
Come & talk to me about your requirement & intended use of a machine & I will put forward my recommendation
of a suitable machine for you to consider, along with my reasons for that choice. I do not charge for this,
all you have to lose at this point is a bit of your time.
